NTSB Reports Engine Failure Not the Cause of Kobe Bryant Helicopter Crash

The helicopter crash in Calabasas, CA that killed Kobe Bryant, his daughter Gianna, and seven others, is still under investigation, however, it has been determined that engine failure was not the cause of the crash.

While federal investigators continue to gather more information about the fatal crash, a definitive cause could take months to determine. Nevertheless, they concluded that “[v]iewable sections of the engines showed no evidence of an uncontained or catastrophic internal failure.”
