SM- Tell us about what you’re currently promoting?

I just finished recording my second single, however it’s not being released as of yet, so at this time I am promoting my currently single “The Beginning” available on all music stores and platforms for downloading and streaming.

SM- What continues to be the motivational factor for you?

What continues to be a “motivational factor” for me is my desire to constantly improve. I begin each project with an open mindset, searching for fresh ideas that will keep me inspired throughout the entire creative process. As an artist it’s easy to face creative blockages, but I’ve learned to embrace each difficulty as its own individual challenge. Finding inspiration in anything that is freely presenting itself to me.

SM- What was the most challenging thing you had to overcome to get to where you are now?

The most challenging thing I had to experience in order to get to where I am today is my own self esteem towards being a “creative.” Proving yourself to others will always be easier than approving yourself. Over the years I had to learn to become my own best critic, finding a balance in over-analyzing myself and positively affirming myself. It takes lots of patience and trust, but luckily this skill applies to everything in life and will help establish more confidence.

SM- What values are important to you when it comes to building your business?

Important values that I uphold while establishing a brand are pretty standard. I want to always remain “authentic” to my brand and most importantly who I am as an individual outside of music. Leading with the idea that “If something doesn’t feel right, then it probably isn’t” which bleeds into “intuition.” While writing new music or developing a concept I have to be intentional with everything I do, collaborations cannot begin until I’m certain of my own efforts. Other values would include openness to experiencing new ideas, self-awareness towards how my music could impact others, courage/self-confidence, and communication with everyone including my team.

SM- Were there other supportive individuals involved in making this project a huge success?

I’ve been fortunate enough to be blessed with a supportive family/community of people who have helped me become successful. My mother who has supported me throughout my entire career has taught me many valuable lessons that I will continue to include in my day-to-day life. I wouldn’t be the person I am today if it weren’t for her. I’ve again been blessed with an incredible talent manager who’s continuously giving me more career opportunities and sound advice. My adolescence was abundantly full of scholarships and professional dance training. I’ve been granted many opportunities from teachers to showcase my talents on stages for large events to doing interviews for Tv networks. I’m eternally grateful for everyone who has and will always be the reason for my success.

SM- What can people expect from you next?

What my fans and any new listeners can expect from my upcoming project is a euphoric exclamation for new experiences including love. I’m overwhelmed with excitement to explore this new era, consisting of abstract choreography and high-end production quality. Are you ready to fall in love?

SM- What is one final thought that you want to leave with our readers?

A final thought I’d like to share with the readers is an honest and sincere “Thank you.” While on this journey of becoming a “pop star” I want my fans and anyone who is interested enough to listen/read about my experience to know how grateful I am to feel seen. Treating every opportunity like a milestone and snapshotting each one like a Polaroid. To anyone following their dreams, not even knowing where to begin.
