Meet The Face Behind Outer Heaven Movement Out of Nashville, Tennessee On His Rise To Stardom 

Big Rob (Robert Leon West) was born April 4, 1988. In 2003, Big Rob started to show interest in rapping when he was in middle school, he would freestyle the other students after awhile he decided to try his hand at songwriting. He changed his style from free-style artist to Hardcore Rapper in September 2003 and founded HardHitter Entertainment (formally known as Hard Knocks). He began working with his brother-in-law and a couple of his friends that had there own underground label called (Kant Stop Records).In 2004, Big Rob formed a group called DYN it was going to be a Hip Hop and R&B group with two of his high school classmates. In 2005, Big Rob left Kant Stop Records because of creative differences; DYN also ended as well due to personal issues. After that he recorded his first two singles “Talk To Me Girl” feat Monica Gotti and “Too Much Hate” feat Bossman. In 2006 Big Rob took a small hiatus to figure out his next move for his music. In 2008, after a two year hiatus from the industry he form a partnership with his high school classmate Michael Anderson A.K.A (Y.K.M) to bring back HardHitter ENT and sign two artists named AC and Monica Gotti. He also hired Micheal as his manager and vic president of Hardhitter. In 2009, Big Rob formed another partnership with Yungun with Stressmade Records and as his producer. In 2010 Big Rob was signed with Black Fly Music for digital distribution deal. In 2011, Big Rob left Black Fly Music because of creative differences. Big Rob rejoined D.Y.N after five years of absence from the group and is scheduled to work on group album with D.Y.N in the near future. He also formed another group with AC and Monica Gotti called Next Level and they appear on a track with Big Rob’s first album Time to Rise Vol.1-Outer Heaven.

In 2011 Big Rob has formed another partnership with Wesley Mitchell and Hip Hop in the Ville and also debut in a movie called King of the Ville-Cashville Killers. Big Rob also preformed at the 2012 H.H.V. Awards (Hip Hop In The Ville). On July 23, 2012, Big Rob released Time to Rise Vol.1-Outer Heaven is now available on ITunes and Amazon. In the fall of 2012 Big Rob ended his partnership with Wesley Mitchell due to fraud .Big Rob hired his second manager Ariel Williams (A.C.) in October of 2012. On January 03,2013 Big Rob had a show at a night club “The End” and he was introduced to Skyblacke by Rob Dee. Big Rob and Skyblacke became friends quickly. On March 13, 2013 Big Rob signed a deal with Skyblacke to be apart of his label (Off Top Records). Since then Big Rob has preformed at MTSU, BB Kings, Centerstage, Jazz & Jokes and has appeared on five different T.V. shows in Nashville. In spring 2013, Big Rob put out his first music video “Burning Down The Family Tree”. He also put out a video for his hit single “Talk To Me Girl” feat Monica Gotti. He has also been preforming in different states such as Kentucky, St Louis, and Chicago. In February 2014 Big Rob opened for YMCMB recording artist Shanell. On April 20th, 2014 Big Rob performed new track Bonnie & Clyde feat Tassie at a Music Showcase at the Hard Rock Cafe in Nashville. On August 24th Big Rob main event at Off Top Records first PPV event called “Summermania.” Big Rob was released from off top records and put out his second album time to rise vol2 day of reckoning. Big Rob who Now goes buy Big Boss is working on His third album time to Rise vol3 Rebellion. Big Boss has started his own label called outer heaven. Robert west now manages himself as his wife singer rapper/ model helps branding and imaging.

SM: Tell us about what you’re currently promoting Big Boss?
My New Album Angel Of Darkness Devils Advocate, touring, new music, signed new artist and my growing company.

SM: What continues to be the motivational factor for you?
My kids, my wife, and the love I have for Hip Hop music.
SM: What was the most challenging thing you had to overcome to get to where you are now?
NASHVILLE MUSIC COMMUNITY IS NOT VERY SUPPORTIVE HAVING TO NETWORK ALOT OUTSIDE OF NASHVILLE AND STILL WORK WITH ARTIST AND PRODUCER’S INSIDE THE CITY THAT WILL RESPECT ARE VISON AND SOUND.
SM: What values are important to you when it comes to building your business?
Honesty, keeping your word and staying focus.
SM: Were there other supportive individuals involved in making this project a huge success?
Sandstorm fatboy duke Calico, strictly insane pro wrestling, RWF, my wife Lil Niki, Perry Lewi, Robert Alexander Mario all the RWF fans and wrestlers, Tampa Mystic, Stardom101 Magazine for always working with me.
SM: What can people expect from you next?
New artist coming out, Im holding down my company Outer Heaven, new Outer Heaven coming to your city.
SM: What is one final thought that you want to leave with our readers?
Follow your dreams, never give up, trust in God and you can do anything! There is no age limit on when you get to you destination just make sure you get there.
